SHEERED IN A SHEER BLOUSE

Hey my beautiful people,

October has been an interesting month, holiday after holiday, parte after parte. Anyway, we have clocked into the last quarter of the year and Christmas is a month away. What better way than me to start serving you with dashing fashion ideas for you to rock while gathering for Christmas with your families?

Nairobi’s weather is very bipolar. One minute it’s all sunny and the next minute, the skies pour out the rains as though we’re under its siege. Despite the weather’s unpredictability, I will still slay and look hot. I can’t allow the cold weather to dim my shine.

In today’s blog post, I’ll talk about the sheer trend which is a see-through fabric that reveals one’s skin. It’s a very daring trend that comes in different garments, it can be a skirt, trousers, dress or a top. It’s easy to pair the sheer trend with anything and the end result is mind-blowing and versatile.

What I mostly love about the sheer trend is that it’s flirty, sexy and flexible as they have a huge potential of making you not feel nude in public. After today’s post, I want ya’ll ladies to come through drippin’ in this trend with my styling hack trick that can help you get through this cold-weather season in style.

I decided to rock a sheer top that is a turtle neck and has been decorated with pearls that give it this sophisticated vibe. I love thrift shopping. For the ladies, you know how tiring it can get especially when you have to go through a heap of clothes just to find ‘The one’. Its sweat and tears I tell you. It’s like looking for a needle in a haystack.

So this Sheer Turtle Neck Top was my gold. I bought it from Mtindwa Market. For those who don’t know Mtindwa, it’s a thrift shop in my hood, Buru Buru where I have been raised and brought up. They have eye-candy stuff especially if you take time to shop. So this magical sheer top was 20 bob. Can you imagine a top glossed with pearls being 20 Ksh!!! Literally that’s the price of a pin.

I paired my sheer top with a black denim skirt that I also bought in Mtindwa at Ksh. 150/= and cute fur chunky heels which made the look effortless and sexy!!!!!!

Dear woman, you are the CEO of your life, hire, fire and promote accordingly.”
